How we can help

Therapy is for everyone, and it doesn’t have to fit neatly in a box.

We offer online therapy services to support our clients through a range of topics. We discuss some common areas here, but often, clients reach out with multiple areas of their life they’d like to address.

Some clients even begin the process before they have a clear picture of what they’d like to focus on - they just know they need to get started.

  • You want to be more kind to yourself but find yourself criticizing your sensitive nature. You’re ready to work through your worries of being mislabeled as “too emotional” or “weak.”

Therapy can provide a safe space for self-reflection. Learn to identify underlying patterns, beliefs, and experiences and express your thoughts and feelings assertively and respectfully. Build your resilience, and learn how to bounce back from setbacks and adversity

  • You’re feeling stressed, or you’re no longer finding the same joy from the things you used to love. You’re noticing old, unhealthy habits slowly creeping back into your life. You’re ready to take back control of your life and (re)gain emotional freedom.

Therapy can help you learn new ways to identify and cope with stress and anxiety, examine life stressors, and work towards healthy life habits and patterns.

  • Whether from past trauma or current dynamics in relationships, family, or work, therapy can be a source to change patterns and unhealthy dynamics.

Our techniques will vary but can include identifying emotions, building empathy and resilience, exploring underlying causes, conflict resolution techniques, and developing healthy coping mechanisms to regulate emotional responses.

  • Life is moving faster than expected, and changes in your life, relationships, and career are starting to feel overwhelming or stressful.

Therapy can cover a range of issues that come with navigating day-to-day life, from setting boundaries and prioritizing self-care to coping strategies and relational skills.

More than just talk

While much of our time during sessions is spent reflecting and examining past and present experiences, therapy often includes practical strategies you’ll be able to use in your daily life - at home, at work, in your relationships.

Our Approach

We take a person-centered and integrated approach to therapy. Put simply, people are complex, and therapy looks different for everyone.

Using a range of approaches allows for a more open-ended exploration of your story.

Therapy can be a transformative container for self-exploration. Above all, we commit to building trust, mutual respect, and an accepting space where you can feel genuinely heard and understood.

Depending on your goals, experiences, and specific needs, we will pull from different approaches: from psychodynamic to cognitive behavioral therapies to mindfulness-based techniques, DBT, ACT, and somatic therapies.

And when appropriate, we’ll bring in cultural practices, mindfulness-based techniques, motivational interviewing and even art & play-based interventions (yes, even and especially with adults!).
